Theory is a wonderful thing, and experience is better. I'm outfitting my yawl and wanted to de-conflict a variety of gear. Concerns are potential interference and damage from other gear.
Both Masts & all standing rigging, seacocks, engine etc are bonded to lead keel as ground in salt water.
SSB HF (ICOM with tuner) main mast insulated backstay antenna ~31 ' long (>7' above deck to ~3' below mast head)
Radar: B&G 4G Freq Mod on leveling mount on Mizzen ~ 15 ' above deck)
Cellular (LTE) booster: Exterior Antenna: Locate above Radar on self leveling, ("interior antenna" in Dodger/companionway)
IP/Analog video Camera under Radar
Wifi (Shore network access) Locate above Radar. on self leveling mount
Wifi (boat network for Ipads etc to MFDs) Ubiquity base in cabin
GPS at stern pulpit on centerline
Not expecting anything to be an issue, due to wide differences in frequncy, am I missing any likely interference?
Interference between sail and radar. I am convinced stern poles are the best location for radar.
The mizzen mast is behind the main back stay. Think of it as a 20' pole, with a 75 ft^2 sail hanging behind it upwind. mizzen staysail has to be dropped to gyre, so no hang ups
