Vesper AIS to Simrad NSS7 evo2

I have just installed a Simrad NSS7 evo2 Combo and a Vesper Watchmate 850.

I want to get the AIS data to show on the NSS7. I been told that I need to use a NSS Video interfacing Cable to do this.

I have NMEA connected to the NSS7. Can I use an NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 converter to get the AIS data straight onto the NSS7? Or are there other ways rather than using the NSS Video interfacing Cable? Thanks so much.
