You mentioned MarineSource yesterday re long range LED flashlights. Just finished looking at their website and I didn't see any referral they subscribe to a ANSI/NEMA FL-1 standard. Was curious if they do adhere to the standards or not? Looking for a new flashlight but sure like others that compare apples to apples.
Thanks

I mentioned MarineBeam...

...which definitely honors the standards. In fact, I just noticed that they now have a lighter and less expensive Long Range Illuminator with a claimed "useable ANSI FL1 beam distance of over 450 Meters."

I got a tactical flashlight about $60 dollar, not as famous as the Fenix or Nitecore, but their power bank function of its really attract me.

The customers service said 800 lumens for strobe mode was the powerful output to prevent being dangerous, I think the low mode for me was enough.
As a tactical flashlight, I always trust Fenix brand flashlight. Although, its price is a little bit higher than non-brand flashlight but worth to buy.
