Has anyone had trouble with the Garmin VHF 300, like 'out of box failure'? I'm on my third blackbox and have not had one yet that would output on more than one (of 3) output jacks.

All in use stations and handsets must be plugged in when the VHF 300 is powered up to activate them. If one is plugged in after powering up, it will not work. The unit must be de-powered and repowered to make any changes.
Apparently during my installation and subsequent trouble shooting this sequence never happened.
