Any marine electronics pro's who can help?
We have 4 ST-70's on our new boat. We like them and they work very well.
Only thing is that randomly the depth and speed units change themselves. I set them to knots and meters and at some point, after a few hours, they're suddenly reading mph and fathoms.
I've put the question to Raymarine but so far no response.
I heard from Raymarine after 6 days (it was the holiday season :-).
They suggested that I verify that the "Mastership" parameter in the advanced configuration was turned off for all instruments. Two of them were on. After I disabled mastership on these the problem disappeared.
Mastership is evidently the parameter that controls whether the SeaTalkNG to SeaTalk1 bridge in the ST70 is enabled.
