been reading on the Hull Truth that the homeport program is very very slow. Has anybody got expierence with this.. looking to buy it to download routes to 4208

It's not "very" slow but slightly sluggish compared to MapSource. I'm happy enought with it and running on Windows 7. I prefer the direct interface in MapSource, but HomePort is still far superior to Raytech and Nav planner. For �29 HomePort is worth it and does what it says on the tin. I have a lot of "legacy" bluecharts on CD and I was please to see HomePort can display them as well as pre-loaded charts off any of the newer G2 kit.
