If any readers have been to the ny boat show and have tips on what to seek out please share. I am headed there sunday 1/24 primarily to try out the simrad nse12 but while there ......who knows? I would be happy to pose specific questions if you pass them along.. Thanks, B

Answering my own question - at NYshow sunday I saw excellent demo of nse12 and as a result bot with br24 from West [interestingly less than anyone on www or at show even after adding in ct tax!]
I brought a thumb drive and uploaded .gpx files from coastal explorer just fine. The display is very bright and very fast.
I was also impressed with standard horizon gx2100 vhf/ais and bot as does not require an antenna splitter and will output nmea ais to Simrad network. Will be a busy install spring.
