Anyone have some reliable information as to when Furuno will release their updated vector charts for NN3D - in January they said they will be out any day now, but I am still waiting.
The current word is that they will be out any day now - but this is what they have been saying for the last six months...
Anyone know what the real scoop is?
Talked with Furuno at TrawlerFest and they said they have been having many issues with the conversion of the Navionics vector charts, hence the hold up. Most are working fine, but some still have significant issues...
The best they could tell me was they were not going to release them until they met their quality standards, but based on current progress it looks like they would be done by the end of the month....
They are out here in New Zealand as of this week.
