I am about to buy a wind instrument but can't seem to find one that will do a "peak hold" on wind speed. I'd like to capture peak wind speeds so I can add this to my anchoring log book. Does anyone make a wind instrument for a sail boat that captures peak wind and saves it like the cheap $89.00 home wind / weather stations do?? I'm not fixed to a brand and have considered TackTick, Garmin, Raymarine and all the others. Which one would you buy and why?

The Furuno FI-50's capture max wind speed. I think my old Raymarine ST80's also captured max wind speed.
