I've been playing with a TotalScan transducer on a temporary mount, which has placed it about 6" below surface below my stern rail. The grass and hard fouling growth in only a month has been impressive. While my more permanent mount would be to lift out of water when not actively using, I'd like to reduce the fouling on this and my DT800 and perhaps Paddlewheels as well. Given that the transducers are a Piezoelectric material, and not recommended for coating with traditional bottom paints (using Micron 66)
any suggestions on what to coat this with?
