Navman Multi (0183) to Raymarine i60 Wind (Seatalk NG)

Hello together!

I just had to exchange the old wind sensor on my boat. Now i have an old log & sound device which outputs (according to datasheet) the NMEA 0183 data:
VHW
VLW
MTW
DBT
DPT

I would like to have the new wind instrument to compute the true wind. Is this achievable? If so, how?
I did read about the ACTISENSE gateways, but i'm not really sure if this would work.
I don't have a "bus" installed. It's two cables that come from the log & depth sensors to the "Navman Multi" device and one cable that goes from the wind sensor to the "Raymarine i60 Wind".
Can i just take the NMEA 0183 out-cable of the Multi device, put it in one end of an Actisense and the other end of the Actisense into the Raymarine Wind? Or is there more magic behind it?

My plan is to get a Raymarine log & depth in the next winter break when on shore. So i don't want to spend big buck & time on a temporary solution...

Thank you very much in advance!
