I've been searching for an answer to this but am having no luck.
Anybody know if you can connect to multiple bluetooth NMEA 0183 sources simultaneously?
I've been using Android devices with a bluetooth GPS for years now (USGlobalSat BT-821) and am looking to add a SailTimer Wind sensor. This sensor will also transmit via bluetooth directly to my device.
In the future I may want to add a more fleshed out system inside the boat with AIS and a speed/depth/temp triducer transmitting via a muxer... again over bluetooth.
I know about bluetooth profiles and how you can (and I have) connected to say a headset for phone communication, and my car for audio playback. I don't know if these apply to NMEA at all.
