Hi, I am about to order a center console from Florida, imported to Australia. The retailer over there has been warning me about possible conflicts between the 150hp Suzuki outboards and Lowrance running NMEA2000. The backbone will be supporting two Lowrance MFDs, sounder/chartplotter combos, GPS antenna, Fusion Sonic Hub, Suzuki Engine Interface.
I have been running a 90hp Suzuki with the same NMEA set up for the past two years on a different boat, with no problems.
The conflicts apparently cause the motor to run in limp home mode, and do not occur with other engine brands.
My question, the obvious, has anyone heard of this issue, and any work arounds?
