After some adventures with my OE fuel gauge, I've decided a more accurate solution is needed for fuel parameters. The LMF400 seems like a potential solution. If I can get the Raymarine C70 MFD (Seatalk) to interface with the LMF400 (NMEA 2K), the LMF400 can presumably use GPS speed from the C70 for fuel calculations (instead of a paddlewheel).
If this seems reasonable, what would be involved in interfacing the C70 with the LMF400 NMEA 2K network?
